2012 Mitsubishi ASX review

                                                                      2012 Mitsubishi ASX

The addition of a reversing camera and reversing sensors in the Platinum ASX boosts driver visibility and awareness. MMAL vice-president of Customer and Brand Management, Paul Unerkov, welcomed the ASX Platinum to the Mitsubishi range saying he expects the feature-packed edition to be popular at Mitsubishi dealerships across Australia.

The ASX Platinum is powered by the efficient 2.0-litre MIVEC four-cylinder engine, and is available as a two-wheel drive with manual or CVT transmission.
ASX Platinum features Active Stability Control, dual front, side and curtain and driver’s knee SRS airbags,

ABS braking system with Electronic Brake Force Distribution and Mitsubishi’s Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution body system.
All Mitsubishi models will get either full-electric or plug-in petrol-electric hybrid powertrains as an option alongside conventional petrol and diesel engines.

Although powering the front wheels in normal driving, the PX-MiEV can switch to all-wheel drive by powering an electric motor on the rear axle when wheel slip is detected.

The 2012 Mitsubishi ASX update is now on sale in Australia. The $3700 Luxury Pack adds Bluetooth and full steering wheel functionality, along with an electro-chromatic mirror with rear view camera, leather upholstery, heated front seats and power operated driver’s seat. Mechanically the 2012 Mitsubishi ASX is unchanged from the 2011 model.
